The Friends of Pātaka Arts Trail is a hugely popular biennial event in which artists from Tawa to Pukerua Bay have the chance to display their work to the public! It’s a community festival that takes everything from painting and weaving to 3D printing and textiling out of artist’s homes and displays it across the city.
The Arts Trail includes a wide range of artists exhibiting in studios and hubs, such as Pātaka, the Gear Homestead Woolshed, and Mana Arts Society, and community hubs, where local artists can gather to exhibit and to sell their work.
The next Biennial Friends Arts Trail is in 2023.
